Our Story

Pier 21 Atelier was born from a vision to extend our design capabilities and create a dedicated offering that pushes the boundaries of design excellence. Launched in 2025, it represents the yacht design arm of our diverse portfolio. Alongside yachts, our expertise spans residential and commercial interior design and build solutions, as well as hospitality projects including hotels and F&B spaces — together forming a complete design and build ecosystem that blends innovation, craftsmanship, and lifestyle-driven design."

Our name reflects our commitment to both place and purpose - “Pier 21 symbolizes the docking point for well-resolved design—where ideas are refined, detailed, and anchored into buildable solutions, while "Atelier" represents our artisanal approach to design, where every project is treated as a work of art.

Our founding team brings decades of combined expertise in marine design, naval architecture, and luxury craftsmanship. Each team member shares a passion for the sea and commitment to pushing the boundaries of yacht design excellence.

JUMANA SETH

Founder

Jumana is an entrepreneur and creative leader with two decades of design and build experience. A global strategist with a passion for exploring new geographies, she embodies a lifelong learner’s mindset — always keeping her cup half empty. She thrives on connecting like-minded individuals and discovering design opportunities in the simplest of things.

David Tinajero

DESIGN LEAD

David is an architect and interior designer specializing in yacht design, with a decade of experience across residential, commercial, and retail projects. Originally from Quito, Ecuador, he is known for his modern approach, quick adaptability, and problem-solving mindset — complemented by a personable and professional demeanor.

Eliana De Duarte

DESIGN LEAD

Eliana, born in Lisbon and a lifelong sea lover with a Master’s in Yacht Design, is a bespoke designer with a refined luxury mindset. Inspired by the serenity of nature, her designs are precise, elegant, and thoughtfully crafted to reflect timeless beauty and balance.
